VACANCY: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Fixed-Term)

REPORTING TO: Chief Engineer/Accountable Manager

LOCATION: Heidelberg

Starlite Aviation Group has a requirement for a responsible, knowledgeable, and attentive individual to fill the position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Fixed-Term) , effective immediately. The role will be stationed in Heidelberg, South Africa.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance of Aircraft:
1. Serviceable Aircraft Delivered
2. Ensure all work is carried out according to OEM Documentation.
3. Carry out fault finding and defect rectification.
4. Ensure the correct spares are ordered.
5. Maintain Good Tool control.
6. Comply with SACAA or other relevant Authorities Regulations.
7. Maintain a high-Quality Standard.
8. Adhere to Standard Times for Maintenance Task.
Experience in defect diagnostics and rectifications.
Experience in embodiment of modifications, satisfying ASBs, CSNs, SSIs and ADs.
Prepare and assist with Internal and External Audits.
Conformance to Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Problem Solving.
Good Analytical skills.
Strong on Compliance.
Good Administration skills.
Good Communications skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:

Type Rated (R22, R44, R66) valid SACAA or
More than 5 years experience on R22, R44, R66 (if not licensed)
Robinson rebuild experience (advantageous)
Approved Person with Sling Aircraft experience (advantageous)
More than 5 years experience on Sling Aircraft (if not Approved Person) (advantageous)
