A well-established company that offers professional steel fabrication processing services is currently recruiting for a General Nightshift Supervisor in the Germiston area.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced production supervisor to oversee the laser and bending machines on nightshift.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Minimum 5 years experience as a Supervisor in a steel service center environment
Needs to have worked with laser and bending machines
Needs to have knowledge in expediting
Able to read assembly drawings
Health and Safety experience will be beneficial
Must be able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Must be able to work accurately under pressure
Must be able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Must be able to attend meetings when required
Must have own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure that the laser and bending department effectively carry out tasks
Perform additional related duties as requested and required
Perform per work instruction
Work closely with factory staff and management
Contribute to team effort
