Job Description - Re-advertised Marketing Specialist: Brand Communications and Partnerships (MER0003DX6)

Objective of the job:

To deliver on the business objectives through the development and implementation of the Brand Communication plan in line with the overall marketing strategy.
To identify and develop business relevant value-based partnerships aligned with Brand Identity.
To drive the internal teams and agencies, supported by adequate planning and the coordination of activities.
To minimize risk, promote efficiencies and deliver on deadlines.
To support internal control checks aligned to legal, compliance and accounting policies.

Main Tasks:

The overall strategic planning and implementation of brand marketing activities across the line.
To ensure that the overall brand plan is supported by a coordinated and approved blueprint that is developed in accordance to all internal requirements/regulations and that it ultimately supports the sales and marketing objectives.
To implement planned global and local brand campaigns in line with global direction and local plan.
The leveraging of systems and data to support and strengthen marketing activity.
That the supporting teams, agencies are aligned and understand the job to be done.
That project plans are in place with adequate time and resource and budget allocations in line with policies.

Strategic development and leveraging of partnerships:

To identify and develop strategic and value-based sponsorships & partnerships in line with brand identity and shared values.
Build and manage existing partnerships that meet business objectives.
To work with stakeholders (including dealers) to ensure that marketing planned activities are leveraged.

Contract development and management:

End to end contract development and negotiation.
Setting of key deliverables and KPI’s.
Monitoring and reporting of sponsorship/partnership.
The leveraging of systems, data to support and strengthen marketing activity.
Alignment to internal policies and regulations around all relevant aspects of the contract process.

Internal stakeholder and agency coordination in line with planning:

Ensure that there is a consistent level of consultation and collaboration with key stakeholders/agency.
Effective launch of brand campaign scope to market through agency support and management.
Effective agency steering through KPI’s and value-based support.

The steering of Internal process:

Ensure that all relevant processes are aligned to the internal controls i.e., legal, compliance and accounting requirements for all applicable brand marketing activities.
An overview of contracts to be reviewed periodically to ensure validity and that brand is receiving desired benefit from the partnership.
To ensure that the adequate consultation is taking place with our legal and compliance before projects or tasks are kicked off.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Negotiations.
Strategic Brand and Retail Marketing.
Project management.
Process development and management.
Digital and Data Marketing.

Experience:

3 years plus in marketing related fields.
Project and process management, agency management.
