Western Slope In-Home Care provides home care services to Medicaid, VA, LTC insurance, and private pay clients who want to remain independent and live in their own homes. Pay Rate: $17.00- $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

Remindclients to take prescribed medication

Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

Assist with personal care and hygiene

Plan and prepare meals

Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so

Perform housekeeping duties

Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Ideal Candidates will:

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
CNA a plus but not required.

Caregivers work in the privacy of each patient’s home allowing you more time one-on-one to get to know your patient and provide quality care. This support also empowers the patient to remain as independent and comfortable as possible at home.

COVID-19 considerations:
We provide infection control training, provide PPE training and a gear bag at orientation.
