Overview
Our client in the dairy industry is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for purchasing processes, and supplier management, while ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement in line with the company policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric
- Post matric qualification in Finance/ Commerce/ Supply-Chain or relevant
- 5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or similar role in manufacturing
- Familiar with ERP software
- Proficient in MS Office
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, raise, and monitor purchase orders to support operational needs.
- Assist in obtaining quotations, evaluating supplier options, and securing approvals following the Procurement Policy.
- Collaborate with suppliers to clarify details, manage timelines, and address queries.
- Support tender process to compile and update preferred supplier lists for various products and services.
- Ensure timely follow-up on invoices and manage purchase order closures.
- Handle supplier and internal queries, working to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide admin support, maintain procurement records, and assist in generating reports as required
