Primary Purpose
The purpose of the role is to support finance managers with daily operations of the department in supporting business. Responsible for overseeing month-end reporting, planning, balance sheet reconciliation, and keeping clean financial discipline.

Qualifications
- B. Com Accounting or any other related qualification
Experience
- 3 – 5 years prior experience in an accounting role

Duties and Responsibilities
FINANCE
- Ensure journals are processed accurately and completely, within deadlines.
- Ensure month-end management accounts are understood and explainable for the products.
- Ensure accruals are raised accurately.
- Ensure all external files are received and any missing files resolved before month-end.
- Meet month-end reporting deadlines.
- Address queries on P&L from management within required deadline and as much detail as needed.
- Process appropriate journals and ensure that any journals are in the correct format and accurately and completely processed.
- Ensure all Schemes monthly journals and reporting are timeously.
- Ensure all profit-impacting items are in within deadline for flash and any items not in are properly reported to financial manager for flash reporting.
- Preparation and management of partner commissions.
- Preparation of transactional data and key drivers for reporting.
- Preparation of any other required reports.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasting in line with budget guideline.

- Interprets business/customer requirements to provide timeous solutions.
