Duties & Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities in the manufacturing department are: (Detailed spec will be shared with qualified candidates)
- Lead the financial planning and budgeting process
- Lead the financial planning and budgeting process for total business overheads
- Ensure the timely uploads of monthly sales information into the global reporting system
- Monthly Headcount Reporting (FTEs) to regional controllers
- Provide the consumption quantities for all raw materials used in the monthly manufacturing process
- Provide journals for posting, including reallocations and monthly/annual accruals for the manufacturing division
- Continuous tracking and monitoring of the capital expenditure budget
- Implement and maintain robust cost control measures
- Cost optimization and process improvements within manufacturing operations
- Manufacturing division “dashboard” and Profit & Loss report
- Submission of “Capex by Projects”
Costing Responsibilities
- Prepare annual Cost of Production calculations
- Maintain the costing of the Bill of Materials (BOMs) annually
- Maintain the costing views for all new material requisitions
- Maintain data tables relating to purchasing info records
- Review purchasing info records and standard costs
- Detailed understanding of the drivers of material price variances
- Maintenance of the Price Set Tables (PST) and “ASP tool”
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance/CIMA (preferred)
- 5 – 8 years in Controlling at a large multinational
- Highly proficient in Excel
