POSITION
The People Data & Operations team is a dedicated group of professionals committed to driving data-driven insights and operational excellence in human resources. With their expertise in analytics, process optimization, and HR systems, they play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of People initiatives. Their collaborative approach fosters innovation and empowers the organization to make informed decisions, improve efficiencies, and enhance the employee experience. Together, they form a dynamic team focused on leveraging data to unlock the full potential of People in support of the company’s goals.
Reporting directly to the CHRO, as the Head of People Data Analytics & Operations (all genders), you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational excellence within the People organization, leveraging HR systems and new technologies.
CHALLENGE
- Processes & Standards – Simplifying, standardizing, and continuously improving processes to capture synergies, scale effects and productivity improvements. Develop operating metrics to measure productivity and growth initiatives. Accountable for high quality and compliant delivery of People Services process scope as well as continuous process improvement in line with external best practices.
- Operations & Payroll – Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations. Ensure People practices and policies comply with legal requirements.
- Data & Tech – Utilize HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of People programs and identify areas for improvement. Work closely together with our People controlling, data analyst and data tech team in improving system capabilities to ensure the highest level of data quality and establish the base for leveraging strategic insights through analytics. Implement technology solutions to improve People operations.
- People – Drive culture, engagement, and collaboration in key office locations. Establish organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountability. Establish work schedules. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH…
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, human resources, or organizational psychology. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with proven experience in HR operations in a challenging, international environment, demonstrating success in establishing an efficient global HR organization for a mid-sized international company.
- Domain Expertise: Implementation experience with HR IT systems, preferably with SAP SF, payroll, and ticketing solutions. Proven experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on HR operations.
- Vision and Execution: Ability to implement and achieve a compelling vision for the future, with actionable plans to achieve long-term objectives. Strong accountability for meeting tactical objectives and commitments within the established methodological framework. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project streams simultaneously, with excellent organizational and time management skills. Very talented at analyzing and understanding HR metrics by interpreting large amounts of data and identifying trends while linking to solutions.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Ability to work within a fast-paced, evolving environment where products and solutions evolve quickly and need to be accurately integrated into customer/sales story lines as the solutions evolve. Embrace change and drive innovation. Skilled in working within a matrix organization and in forwarding, building momentum for and successfully driving the competition of strategic initiatives that impact a total organization and company.
- Problem-solving and Creativity: Strong problem-solving skills and creativity to develop new possibilities and processes. Action-oriented leader with a high sense of urgency and a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.
- Personal Attributes: Empathy, authenticity, integrity, commitment, resilience, and respect in dealing with all stakeholders.
- Mobility: Feasibility to travel to the Cologne HQ on a hybrid working model.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus!

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
