We are looking for:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Quicket. As a Bookkeeper at Quicket, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our company. You will be responsible for recording, reconciling, and reporting financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Working closely with our finance team, you will help streamline our accounting processes and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential in supporting Quicket's growth and success.
Requirements
Responsibilities for this role are:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Load daily beneficiaries and event payouts on banking platform.
- Update and maintain international payouts.
- Update and maintain ticket buyer refunds.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of account balances.
- Ensure documents are signed and stored as per approval flow requirements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Register new assets and maintain Fixed Asset Register.
- Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist with annual audit and tax preparation processes.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.
The ideal person for this role has:
Experience and Education
- Diploma or Certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting required.
- National Diploma in Financial Accounting or a Bachelor’s Degree advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
Skills and Traits
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
