About the Role
As a Data Analyst I, you will analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights. Your analytical skills will contribute to data-driven decision-making and business growth. Your work will directly impact strategic planning and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Defining the customer’s data problems (dashboards, reports, product analysis, KPI's).
- Determining data plan and communicate with the team.
- Identifying data sources (databases, files, interfaces) and data aggregations.
- Creating specifications and work with data engineers to create ETL processes.
- Cleaning data (data correction, normalization, standardization).
- Creating reports and visualizations (create views and filters for data).
- Using various data workflow management and analysis tools.
Requirements
- Recently graduated or currently completing a bachelor’s in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, BCom or related field.
- Have knowledge of various data types and formats, including but not limited to XML, flat files, delimited, etc.
- Possess knowledge of data analysis tools and processes.
- Display understanding of data modelling principles, data manipulation languages and storage systems.
