Anderson Neurological and Developmental Services is looking for a fulltime Physiotherapist to join their fun, friendly and dynamic team in Western Australia.
Our team possesses a wealth of expertise and experience with individuals across all age groups with neurological and developmental conditions. Our team consists of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Psychologists and Allied Health Assistants.
Our rehabilitation centres are located in both Perth, Bunbury and Manjimup, Western Australia. Our holistic, evidence-based approach has continued to assist individuals achieve meaningful goals to maximise confidence, skills and independence for the past 15 years.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Physiotherapist at Anderson, you will plan and provide holistic services to a diverse range of clients. You will work directly with the individual, their family and key stakeholders. We are seeking a candidate who possesses expertise in supporting individuals with disabilities and/or complex needs across different age groups, including children and adults.
Specifically, we highly appreciate candidates who have a strong background in neurological rehabilitation and possess relevant knowledge and experience in this field. You would be seeing clients both in the clinic and community settings. We have company vehicles available to utilise when visiting clients in their home, school, community gym/hydrotherapy pool, aged care facility etc.
You will receive support from a group of seasoned senior therapists, as well as chances to enhance your skills to assist our esteemed clients in reaching their goals and aspirations.
Our therapy services are personal and innovative. Each client is considered with regard to their individual needs and characteristics. As such, our Allied Health team collaborate to work towards the goals of our clients and their families. You would be an integral player within this approach, as we value and rely upon the unity and strength of our team. Physiotherapists at Anderson have the opportunity to contribute and develop innovative service delivery models. This includes initiatives such as interdisciplinary groups, new evidence-based intervention ideas and various opportunities for the supervision of students, new graduates and those new to the sector.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- Registration (or intent to register) with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulatory Agency’s (AHPRA) Physiotherapist Board.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist.
- A passion for maximising clients’ independence and self-expression by working to understand their individual needs, goals and aspirations.
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, as well as written communication skills.
- Strong advocacy, mediation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Actively acknowledge the importance of positive team culture.
- A current and valid driver’s license, as well as the ability to confidently drive an automatic car.
Compliance documents (required prior to commencement):
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance as per AHPRA guidelines
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations and influenza vaccinations
- First Aid certification desirable
