Your responsibilities
The Short Term Trading Solutions department in Uniper IT is responsible for all changes in IT Systems supporting the Uniper short term dispatch process. The department consist of Project Managers, Business and System Analysts who are responsible for delivering large scale transformational Projects as well as small scale Business As Usual items for Power and Gas. Within this department we are searching for a Senior Business Analyst coordinating multiple initiatives, Business As Usual items and Projects primarily for the Gas area.
Support the Business teams in review & optimisation of business processes
Identify and engage with the stakeholders to classify, document and engineer requirements (functional and non-functional)
Translate business requirements into IT and System requirements and User Stories
Ownership of small enhancements, ensuring solutions meet business needs
Lead and facilitate workshops with various levels of stakeholders across the organization
Point of contact for Business to be consulted on requirements
Challenge requirements and provide alternative solution options (cost/benefit analysis)
Highlight ambiguities, contradictions and impediments in collected business requirements to the business lead
Collect test cases from users and stakeholders and write them down
Coordinate testing process according to the collected test cases by giving advice to PM and business leads on: Lead time for testing according to collected test cases
Advice testers of the test cases and document results of testing process
Present testing results to PM and Business lead
Attend meetings: Weekly JF Meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint review meetings, retros and stand-up meetings as well as refinement sessions for backlogs
Your profile
Academic degree or equivalent professional qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience
Hands on experience in a Business Analyst role, with direct involvement in large sized IT implementation projects
Certification as Business Analyst like IIBA®, CBAP®
Experience in Commodity Logistics(Power and Gas), Dispatch, SCADA, Scheduling, Nomination is a plus
Ability to work both independently and within a team in combination with the strong desire to accept responsibility
Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills and IT affinity with the ability to present complex topics targeted to the audience
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in order to facilitate workshops and conflict resolutions
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, proficiency in German or other languages is a plus
