Your responsibilities
Responsible for regular and ad-hoc finance reporting / analyses to controlling and accounting teams for Power/ Carbon activities, aiming at explaining developments and creating insight
Delivering accurate, timely and relevant information and related analysis for the reportable activities
Responsible for coordinating the implementation of new energy products into our IT landscape from a reporting perspective
Proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact timelines and/or deliverables
Identifying lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders
Passionate about and actively improving data flows via automation, AI, or any other feasible way
Taking full ownership for all the above
Your profile
University education in the areas of Computer Science/Business Administration/ Economics/Finance/ Engineering (or comparable)
Relevant working experience, ideally in IT, financial reporting and analysis, energy markets and trading
Keen interest in new products, commodities and trends in the energy markets
Structured, target- and solution-oriented approach with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, at times under time pressure
Proficient in or eager to learn and carry out automation initiatives
Being able and enjoy working both autonomously and within a team
Excellent communication skills, high degree of assertiveness, stress-
Drive to proactively take ownership of initiatives and projects
Relevant experience in project lead & management and stakeholder management
Proficient knowledge in MS Office skills (Excel is a must), and ideally in SQL and PowerBI
Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
