Salary: R11999 - R16999 pm
Role overview:
• Procure goods and services for the Nasrec site.
• Daily follow-ups on orders and deliveries.
• Collaborate closely with the Production Planner for order placements.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
• Facilitate the procurement process to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Min Requirements:
• Grade 12 qualification
• SAMTRAC certification
• Risk Assessments and Incident Investigation experience
• Knowledge of ISO Management Systems
• 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent report writing skills
Skillset:
• Assist with on-site compliance for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
• Support Risk and Legal compliance on site
• Identify potential compliance issues proactively to prevent threats
• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all work activities
• conducting Hazard Identification and risk assessments
• recommending risk mitigating controls, and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented controls.
• Ensuring compliance with the NEMA act and regulations, maintaining compliance registers, and overseeing employee inductions will also be part of your duties.
• facilitate SHERQ inspections, meetings, and toolbox talks, as well as coordinate employee training and skills matrix development.
• You will manage legal appointments, PPE stock records, and maintain an audit schedule to ensure timely closure of findings.
• Conducting accident investigations, fire drills, and auditing contractor safety files will also be among your responsibilities.
