Our client is currently looking for a Financial Controller (Hospitality) to join their team in Sandton. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running for the hotel, managing HODs and handling any internal issues that arise.
Some Duties include: - Providing financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of the business plan and departmental budgets
- Maximizing cash flow performance of the business
- Enforcing & establishing adequate controls for all revenues and protection of assets to improve the level of service
- Monthly bank reconcilliation statements
- Examines daily costing reports.
- Examines and approves all payroll hiring, status changes and terminations.
- Ensures that all keys control and issuance procedures are correctly applied and adhered to.
- Recommends to the area office improvements in accounting and internal control.
- Attends and contributes to all training sessions
Requirements: - Minimum Undergraduate degree in Finance/ Accounting (completed)
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in the above duties (advantageous)
- Hospitality/ Hotel industry experience
- IScala exposure
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
