One of our top Financial Clients are looking to appoint a Junior Credit Manager to manage the credit approval process, ensure effective credit control, and maintain strong relationships with BDO’s and the new business support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Risk Assessment prior to credit meetings.
- Evaluate the credit worthiness of prospective and existing commercial clients.
- Lead and manage a team of new business support staff.
- Manage the day to day responsibility of reviewing scorecards prepared by the new business support staff.
- Manage the day to day responsibility of new business support staff drawing up contracts and the documentation in for payout.
- Manage the expected payouts per week directly from the BDO’s together with expected payouts for the month and report to the finance department.
- Manage the renewal of credit facilities of existing clients on a yearly basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ year’s experience in a commercial credit management environment
- Proficiency in financial analysis, credit scoring models, and accounting software.
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and make sound credit decisions
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing credit limits and assessing risk.
- Ability to resolve complex credit and collection issues effectively.
- Proven experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Understanding of the company’s industry sector and market trends affecting credit risk.
