Salary: R15 000 to R17 000 Based on Experience
Job Overview
A well-renowned wholesaler is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Dispatch Supervisor to join their team. This role will be responsible for the efficient and safe scheduling/execution of the company’s logistics and dispatch.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
- Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity.
- Maintaining suitable inventory levels and requesting any required materials.
- Checking orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
- Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
- Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
- Logging and tracking required documentation in relation to all applicable deliveries.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric). Qualification in business, management, logistics or a related field will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
- Experience in FMCG essential.
- Must have own vehicle.
- Must be willing to work longer hours including opening and closing the warehouse.
