Accountant Position
Our client, a provider of outsourced cloud-based accounting and business solutions for retail, online, and service businesses within a wide range of industries, is looking for an Accountant to join their small, but unique and dynamic team in Stellenbosch.
Requirements
- Matric
- Comm B. Comm Hons, CIMA or SAIPA qualification (or other university degree with article experience)
- SAIPA Articles completed (3 years)
- Minimum of 3 Years of post-qualification experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Xero, Dext, Draftworx / CaseWare
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver’s licence
Responsibilities
- Management of bookkeeper team
- Assist with tax calculations and submissions (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
- Preparation and submission of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of annual financial statements as per IFRS for SME standards
- Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
