The main purpose of the job is to administer all claim assessments, assessor appointments, corresponding with brokers and service providers and attending to claim documentation. It further involves building relationships with brokers by responding to queries and other outstanding matters and saving of claim correspondence.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate registration of new claims
- Claim assessment within the parameters of the wordings
- Prepare matters for presentation at Claims Committee
- Correspondence with brokers, assessors etc.
- Adherence to company SLAs
- Accurate reserving
- Attend to all queries
- Maintenance / administration of schemes
- Correspondence: hard copies & e-mail
- Diary management and follow up
Minimum Qualifications
- Matric
- Legal and/or Business degree (or studying towards) would be an advantage
- Minimum 2 Years Engineering Insurance Claims Experience will be an advantage
- RE5 Qualification will be an advantage
- Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office - proficiency in Word, Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook

Turnaround time
