Credit Data Analyst
Our Client is looking for an experienced Credit Data Analyst with 5 years plus solid experience in data analytics, who delivers work of high quality, manipulates, and transforms large volumes of data. You will need to perform extensive analysis of data and produce summary results in a visual format.
Salary: Up to R 1.5m per annum (Depends on experience and qualification)
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Sc. Mathematics / Statistics / Actuarial Science / B. Engineering
- Mathematical/statistical background
- 5+ years’ experience in data analysis/modeling
- Experience in using tools like advanced Excel, SQL / SAS
- Experience in working with millions of rows.
- SAS / SQL (required) / Advanced Excel (required) / Excel VBA, Python and R (preferential).
International travel may be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and manage the performance across multiple credit products.
- Evaluate and improve business decisions, substantiated by data-driven analyses.
- Mentoring colleagues and creating credit strategies.
- Running and improving forecasting simulations.
- Reporting back to management about the credit risk status of the business.
- Data analysis and attention to detail.
This role will present the successful individual with both local and international exposure.
