An exciting opportunity is now available for a Veterinary Nurse at a long-standing, highly reputable veterinary practice in Penzance, Cornwall. This practice has served the local community for over a century, providing comprehensive veterinary services for small animals, equine, and farm clients.
*Key points about the role:*
* 7 nights on, 14 off, with a 3-week rolling rota.
* Accommodation provided for night shifts.
* Delivering excellent inpatient care during out-of-hours.
* Supporting the on-call vets with emergency cases, small animal focused.
The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of out-of-hours care and excel in working both independently and collaboratively. You’ll play a key role in providing high-quality care for patients overnight.
*Main duties include:*
* Ensuring seamless handovers between day and night teams.
* Providing care for patients staying overnight.
* Assisting with emergency small animal cases.
* Forwarding OOH calls to relevant vets as necessary.
