The Position
Seize the opportunity to become a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager in a leading global pharmaceutical company, where you will lead critical transfer pricing initiatives and international projects as well as support during international tax audits and arbitration procedures, thereby contribute to the company's global success. Not only will you work in close proximity to the business on a day-to-day basis and build strong relations with relevant business stakeholders, but you will also provide vital conceptual input in driving forward Pharma related transfer pricing concepts and models.
You'll be part of the dynamic corporate tax department located in our vibrant headquarters in Ingelheim, working with a diverse team to innovate and optimize transfer pricing concepts.
- As a key player in our organization, you will independently manage and proactively advise other international group entities across business areas and/or functions on a wide variety of transfer pricing relevant topics.
- You will innovatively further develop and optimize group-internal transfer pricing concepts, which can be operationalized, and you will also monitor their implementation.
- Bring in your expertise when it comes to the preparation of financial data and defense in international tax audits (ITA), Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP), and Advance Pricing Agreements (APA).
- You will independently manage transfer pricing documentation, support in the preparation of the Country-by-Country Reporting as well as Pillar II Reporting, setting up a system to meet the new requirements under Pillar I / Amount B.
- In addition, you will participate in and lead international documentation projects in close coordination with the affected countries and functions.
- Finally, you will manage tax designs and structures as well as international contracts, in M&A projects you ensure the consideration of transfer pricing concepts and manage the integration.
- Degree in economics or law with a focus on tax law, taxes, or transfer pricing, several years of professional experience with a focus on transfer pricing in consulting or a corporate headquarters
- Tax consultant examination or in-depth knowledge in the field of income taxes and VAT are advantageous
- Sound knowledge of German and international transfer pricing rules, as well as the management of ITA, MAP, and APA processes as well as M&A projects, and analysis of financial data
- Teamwork and interest in international cooperation in an intercultural context as well as close technical exchange and cooperation with the other colleagues in the tax department
- Distinct independent working style, above-average analytical thinking as well as a high understanding of business administration
- Very good communicative skills in English and German across various target groups; another language (e.g., French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese) is advantageous.
