Warehouse Refrigeration Technician (Port Elizabeth)
A well-known company is seeking a qualified refrigeration technician for the repair of refrigeration equipment within the warehouse, to be based in Port Elizabeth.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Grade 12
• Certifications: Refrigeration qualification with Trade Test completed, Gas Handling Licence
• Technical Skills: Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge, strong understanding of refrigeration equipment
• Experience: 1 – 2 years in refrigeration
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, strong written & verbal communication, teamwork, business acumen, drive and commitment, tenacity, analytical skills, problem-solving & decision-making
The Role (Job Specification):
• Key Responsibilities:
o Repair refrigeration equipment within the warehouse
o Inspect refrigeration equipment before it is moved to outlets
o Submit weekly stock reports
o Daily submission of job cards
o Perform administrative duties
o Maintain an orderly warehouse setup
o Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Manager
• Additional Information:
o Some travel may be required (primarily office/warehouse-based role)
o Detailed information will be provided at the interview
Salary: R15 000 p.m.
