Purpose of the Role:
Provide technical services, including development of technical outputs, inspections, and management of contractors for clients on an EPCM basis. The role involves office-based work with regular site visits during procurement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: National Diploma in Engineering
- Preferred: Qualified Engineer Technologist or Technician
- Registration with ECSA or recognized international body
- Project management courses based on PMBOK principles
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the Oil & Gas sector, including:
- 5+ years as Project Coordinator or related role
- 3+ years in Design Engineering in the Oil & Gas Industry
Practical site construction experience (advantageous).
Competencies:
- Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of PMBOK project management principles
- In-depth knowledge of quality, environmental, and safety management systems
- Strong grasp of contract management and requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of project scheduling
- Familiarity with regulatory and safety governance
- Technical competence within the applicable Knowledge Area
Skills: - Proficient in MS Office, IFS, Primavera, and MS Projects
- Strong technical competence in relevant engineering fields
