Streamline Search are working with a modern, family run practice based in Nottingham seeking to employ a Semi Senior Accountant.
The right candidate will play a crucial role in this firm's success by ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of accounts, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities to offer tailored financial advice. Flexibility may also be on offer to those who need reduced or altered working hours and some hybrid working will be available.
Semi Senior Accountant - Key Responsibilities
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you can expect the role to involve limited company clients' accounts, tax returns and ad hoc work such as bookkeeping and payroll.
- Preparation of year-end accounts up to review stage.
- Preparation of clients' VAT returns.
- Develop good working relationships with clients to advise where applicable and necessary.
- Ad hoc responsibilities involving payroll and bookkeeping when required.

Semi Senior Accountant - Position Requirements
- Part-qualified or fully qualified in a recognized accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or ACA.
- A strong understanding of UK accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
