Requirements:
- Technical certification or apprenticeship in welding or fabrication preferred.
- 2-5 years experience in metal fabrication or plate work, with knowledge of tools like plasma cutters, welders, and CNC machines.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, welding, measuring, and following safety standards .
- Relevant trade test .
- Strong attention to detail , physical stamina , and the ability to work independently or as part of a team .
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble metal plates according to specifications; weld and join materials.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to meet industry standards and perform rework as necessary.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain tools/equipment.
- Teamwork: Work with engineers and colleagues, providing updates and feedback on project progress.
