Proactive Personnel require Class 1 drivers to work on a guaranteed, ongoing basis for our client in Stafford.
This position involves distribution of chilled and ambient goods.
Working hours are days and are flexible to meet your individual requirements - nights out may be required. This position is temporary ongoing but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
There is no handball involved and deliveries will be made on a curtain side trailer. This is a clean job!
You must have a clear understanding of HGV working time regulations. There are long shifts available and you will be responsible for keeping log of your daily/weekly rest in order to comply with industry standards.
This is not seasonal work and there will be the opportunity to work all year round.
You will be paid £15.00 - £22.41 per hour
* DAYS: £15.00 per hour (£16.81 including holiday pay)
* NIGHTS: £16.00 (£17.93 including holiday pay)
* SAT: £19.00 (£21.29 including holiday pay)
* SUN: £20.00 (£22.41 including holiday pay)
Weekend shifts are paid at a premium, and there is the option to have your PAYE holiday pay included.

* Driver’s CPC card
* Digital Tachograph card
* 2 years C+E experience (For insurance purposes)
* Less than 6 points on licence
