Responsibilities / Duties:
Sales:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and grow existing accounts.
- Manage sales cycles, including negotiations and closing high-value deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing customised solutions.
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
Marketing:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends and opportunities.
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with specific client segments.
- Developing and executing marketing campaigns that align with the companys goals.
- Collaborate with the management team to create marketing materials that highlight product benefits and features.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
General Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of sales and marketing professionals, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Present regular updates on sales and marketing performance to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years sales and marketing experience in the construction / civil engineering industry.
- A marketing / sales qualification advantageous
- Understanding of customer requirements
- Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Must have a traceable track record as an effective business, sales and marketing strategist.
Remuneration:
R60k, plus company vehicle and commission and performance-based bonuses
