Occupational Health Nurse
Exciting new role has opened up with a national manufacturing concern for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse.
Duties would include ensuring that all necessary health and safety programs/services are available to staff. This role will focus on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards.
Incumbent would be expected to travel to branches nationally.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Occupational Health Practitioner
- Registered Nurse with SANC registration
- A dispensing licence is compulsory
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation
- Good organisational skills, the ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that an efficient service is delivered
- Client service skills, active listening skills, sensitivity and understanding, pay attention to detail
- Good communication skills (writing and verbal)
- Work well under pressure
- Drivers licence
