Mission:
The Global Project Leader is responsible for delivering new product development and upgrade projects, ensuring they meet project objectives and customer needs. This role involves making key decisions to ensure project progress and leading global production footprint projects, such as product transfers and expansions.

- Leading the project team in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Keeping stakeholders and the steering committee updated on project status and challenges.
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Continuously improving project methodologies and processes.

The role emphasizes innovation, customer-centricity, and effective communication to ensure the project team’s success and safety.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead New Product Development projects with a cross functional team and customer representation when applicable, from project start to product launch.
- Lead Production expansion and global footprint projects in cooperation with Global Operations Developer.
- Prepare and recommend PSG decisions for Project Council decisions.
- Together with Project Sponsor develop scope and business case to support the PSG decision.
- Accountable for the development and management of detailed scope of work, budget, and project plans with identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones.
- Develop and execute communication plan for each project, ensuring proper stakeholder engagement.
- Serve as primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and communicate information at the right time, to the right audience.
- Prepare Project Gate decisions.
- Conduct Risk Assessment for each project opportunity to help prioritize work and mitigate risks for work that is activated, involving Project Sponsor and Steering Committee when applicable.
- Work with resources and sub-projects across multiple departments to proactively manage tasks and analyze and resolve project roadblocks.
- Ensure that project closing and learning is documented and shared to make recommendations for process improvement opportunities, ideas to accelerate projects, and other ways to improve the project executing and project results.
- Prioritize and communicate to meet and exceed project deadlines and commitments.
- Identify critical tasks and make decisions on appropriate prioritization.
- Ensure the team remains focused and on track, including addressing any conflicts or bottlenecks.
- Deliver project financial outputs and forecasts including capitalization.
- Work with continuous improvements to secure operational excellence in all areas of responsibility.
- Provide monthly project status updates.
- Work for an open and collaborative culture within the teams and with other departments, functions and divisions.
