Large Company in Pretoria is looking for an energetic and dynamic SENIOR HR OFFICER!
MUST HAVE: Industrial Relations (IR) experience and willingness to travel!
Duties & Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Employee contracts & policies: Compilation, issuance, and collection of employee contracts and policies for all new employees. Assist new employees in signing documents and communicate with Payroll regarding documentation.
- Administration of HR: Loading new employees on HR database, transferring employees on VIP Payroll, and full administration function for HR on VIP Payroll.
- Leave: Update HR system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis with leave balances and clock-in records.
- Scanning and Filing / Employees: Maintain electronic employee files and ensure all new documents are added to the HR record-keeping system.
- Industrial relations: Attend to disciplinary steps as needed (counseling, written warnings, disciplinary hearings, and CCMA representation).
- Payroll: Compile and submit payroll documents to the payroll department by the 20th of each month.
- Exit Process: Ensure completion of exit process and maintain the exit process file.
- Union Support: Assist with wage negotiations and maintain union administration records.
- Employment Equity: Assist in compiling Employment Equity reports once per year.
- Skills Development: Assist in compiling and submitting relevant skills development plans.
- CCMA: Prepare bundles and represent the entity at CCMA proceedings.
- Additional tasks as allocated by HOD/SEM or Director.
