*Aspect Healthcare* is offering an excellent chance for a skilled *Surgical First Assistant *to join our client's team in the Theatre department. This position is full-time, with 37.5 hours per week, and entails covering a flexible shift schedule.
*The role:*
* Provide safe, high-quality care for patients throughout their perioperative journey.
* Assist in managing and organising care within the Operating Department.
* Support the delivery of patient care.
* Contribute to enhancing quality standards.
* Foster the development of skills and knowledge in oneself and others.
* Advocate for and apply evidence-based practices within one's professional scope.
* Adhere to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Maintain awareness of Health and Safety at Work Act requirements, ensuring safety measures for all stakeholders.
* Meet agreed objectives while consistently demonstrating CHG behaviours.
* Prepare and organise surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies for various operative procedures.
*The Requirements:*
* Must hold NMC/HCPC Pin with no restrictions.
* Candidate should have completed their Surgical First Assistant qualification.
* The ideal candidate should possess skills in anaesthetics , recovery, and surgical scrub procedures.
* Mentorship qualification is required.
