Responsibilities:
- Manage laboratory operations, staff, and workflow to ensure operational efficiency
- Develop, implement, and review laboratory policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Lead and mentor laboratory personnel in technical skills and professional development
- Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate and conduct training for laboratory staff
- Manage laboratory budgets and inventory of supplies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and quality assurance initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field
- Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of laboratory management practices and quality standards
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is preferred
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
- Proficient in laboratory software and data analysis tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
