FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assistant Accountant based in Turriff, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis.
Main duties include:
- Assisting with Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Assisting with Preparation of Final Accounts to Statutory Level Ready for Audit
- Assisting with Preparation of Management Information and Costings
- Cash Flow Forecasting
- Budgeting and Variance Analysis
- VAT Returns
- Sales Invoicing
- Sales & Purchase Ledger duties during busy periods
- Holiday Cover for Purchase Ledger function
- Month End Reconciliations
- Credit Control and Sales Ledger Receipt Allocation
- Process Credit Card Statements, Fuel Sheets, Inter-Company Recharges
- Assisting members of the accounts team as required
Suitable candidates should have the following:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with month end reporting processes
- Experience with Sage accounting software or similar
- Keen analytical skills and attention to detail
Candidates should be based locally to Turriff, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
