Your new role
You will lead the MIS team, which will entail you managing a team of 3 junior accountants below you, and you will be reporting directly to the CFO. Your job will heavily comprise of team management and stakeholder management. You will also be responsible for monitoring the banks' financial performance against budget, developing budgets for departments and projects, presenting these budgets to the board and senior stakeholders, creating MIS reports, managing these reports, and adjusting them based on regulatory changes.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years PQE in the banking industry. You will have experience managing teams of people below you and will be comfortable doing so. You will have experience with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and be comfortable presenting and liaising with them on a regular basis. You will have strong analytical skills and be an independent problem solver.
