We are very excited to be working in partnership with a client in Cambuslang that is looking for us to build up a pool of candidates that are looking for part time working with the opportunity to work flexibly as.
Our client delivers millions of parcels every week to every postcode across the UK. They are proud to run out of 50 sites nationwide to ensure their customers receive their parcels within the right time scales and they are dedicated to the services they offer.
Due to our client dealing with secured parcels for home delivery it is essential that the staff working onsite are working to the highest of standards and have a good understanding of health and safety procedures for working onsite.
Hours of work at our new client:
Night shift – Monday – Sunday 3.30am – 11:30am / 5am – 12noon
What does a Warehouse Operator do within our client?
· Organizing the parcels into postal code cages
· Using a scanning system for checking in and out
· Unloading the wagons with parcels – Straight on to the line
· Responsible to work as a team and assist with any housekeeping / general tidying up
· Assist with any other general duties whilst training
What do we require for you to be considered for our client?
· A driving license is essential for the night shift or local to area.
· A good level of fitness due to the physical manual handling side of the business
· Experience working within a similar environment using a pick system or general warehousing.
· A reference from a previous employer within the last 2 years
· Excellent work ethic with a can do attitude
· Ideally a student who is looking for part time work or someone who is only looking for part time hours
· A good understanding of health and safety
