Site Engineer - Durban - Kwazulu Natal
We are searching for a Site Engineer who will be responsible to ensure that all machinery is compliant with the occupational health and safety legislation, implement a planned maintenance program and ensure that the statutory machinery records are kept and maintained.

To provide Managerial, Engineering and Strategic Support, and to manage integrated Facilities Management solutions on various sites. Key responsibilities include providing Managerial, Engineering and Strategic Support and managing integrated FM solutions at the designated site with regard to:
Key Responsibilities
- To be responsible for occupational health and safety in all matters pertaining to the use of machinery and assets.
- To meet the statutory engineering requirements and compliance at all times and take responsibility for the implementation of the relevant statutory duties.
- To ensure that the legal requirements in respect of machinery are complied with, especially towards the correct use, maintenance, safeguarding, inspection and testing.
- To ensure that all incidents relating to machinery are reported and investigated in the correct way.
- Manage Key Customer Relationships.
- Manage Service Delivery in terms of SLA effectively.
- Manage Commercial and Financial targets effectively.
- Manage Change and Continuous Improvement effectively.
- Manage OHS & E Compliance effectively.
- Provide Engineering support in KwaZulu – Natal.

Qualifications
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Government Certificate of Competency.
- 5 years as a Senior Facilities Manager in a healthcare/manufacturing environment as Engineering Manager.
- Previous experience in steam generation and oil-fired boiler operation.
- Previous General Machinery Regulation 2(1) appointee for premises.
- Management of sub-contractors and SLAs.
- Thorough understanding of LRA and IR Management.
