R&D Project Manager (m/f/d)

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated R&D Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of our company, you will be responsible for the application, coordination, documentation and presentation of research projects within and outside of ficonTEC.
Lead and coordinate third-party funded projects in the fields of optoelectronics and photonics
Apply for funding from national and international funding institutions.
Develop and implement project plans, including time and resource planning.
Manage and monitor project progress and ensure budget compliance.
Collaborate with internal and external partners, including research institutions, industry partners, and funding agencies.
Prepare reports and presentations for funding agencies and project partner
Ensure compliance with funding conditions and regulations
Contribute to the strategic planning and further development of the third-party funded projects.
Ensure the results and insights of funded projects are available to the technical departments
Close collaboration with marketing department to ensure a dissemination of the project results and increasing the general visibility of the company.
A completed degree in a technical or scientific field, preferably in optoelectronics, photonics, or related disciplines.
Several years of experience in managing and coordinating third-party funded projects (desirable in the environment of an industrial company)
In-depth knowledge of applying for and managing funding.
Experience in collaborating with research institutions and industry partners.
Strong project management skills, including time and budget management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
Team player with high initiative and a structured working approach.
Good communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work in teams
Willingness to engage in short international travel as required (up to 30%)
