Qualifications (*only include the required qualifications)
- High school diploma/GED.
- Seven (7) years of experience in construction, maintenance, inspection and/or repair of public works stormwater or marina-related projects.
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for prioritizing, coordinating and scheduling daily work for the Public Works Stormwater Section.
- Performs administrative functions related to section budgets and expenditures, develops production reports related to activities and ensures projects and purchasing activities are performed efficiently, effectively and in accordance with established specifications.
- Provides technical support, supervision, training and evaluation to personnel under charge.
- Participates in collaborative efforts with other City personnel to ensure comprehensive coverage for all projects in process.
- Inspects work sites, reviews all project data to determine compliance with regulatory practices and obtains proper permits where applicable.
