*The Role*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at a Specialist Nursing and Dementia Care Home.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide high-quality, patient-centered support to women in a mental health setting.
* Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social interaction.
* Support individuals in developing and maintaining independence and life skills.
* Work closely with the nursing team to ensure each patient's care plan is effectively implemented.
* Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
* Offer emotional support and companionship.
* Participate in regular training and professional development activities.
* Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and professional standards.
*Requirements*
* Experience in a mental health or care setting is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of mental health issues and the needs of female patients.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
