Here at Broxbourne Veterinary Centre in Hoddeston, which is our second branch, we are looking for a few good all-round Veterinary surgeons, who will be covering all routine first-opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required.
Your new role is Full time and each candidate is required to be flexible on working hours and days. We are happy to discuss with details.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and surgical care to our animal patients. As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various conditions, performing surgeries, and ensuring the overall well-being of the animals under our care.
*\*\*Responsibilities:\*\**
* - Conduct thorough examinations on animals to diagnose health conditions
* - Develop and implement treatment plans for animals requiring medical intervention
* - Perform surgical procedures with precision and care
* - Administer medications and monitor patient responses
* - Collaborate with other veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
* - Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
* - Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and surgical techniques
*\*\*Qualifications:\*\**
* - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
* - Registered with the RCVS
* - Min 3 years experience
* - Valid state veterinary license
* - Proven experience as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon or similar role
* - Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and veterinary practices
* - Excellent surgical skills with attention to detail
* - Ability to work well in a team environment
* - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* - Experience working in a laboratory setting
* - Specialization or certification in veterinary surgery
