4Site Recruitment is looking for a Design Manager to join one of our high-end residential clients. This role involves overseeing the complete design management process from pre-construction to project handover. We seek a candidate with a keen eye for design detail and a passion for excellence, ideal for a technically proficient, design-oriented individual eager to advance their career in Design Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage design information from consultants and subcontractors.
- Ensure integration of building services with architectural and structural components.
- Monitor the approvals process during RIBA Stages 4 & 5.
- Manage the design-related Request for Information (RFI) process.
- Conduct Design Team Meetings and track action items.
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Skills & Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or Construction.
- Experience in Design Management for high-end residential projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of technical requirements for Planning and Building Regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit or Archicad is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
