Position:
Storeman Must be able to start asap. Candidates that must give a month’s notice need NOT APPLY.

Working hours:
• Must be able to work shifts (Shift Work 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00 It is a shift position rotating between 2 storemen.
Salary: Market Related.

Educational & Training Requirements:
• Must have Grade 12
• Must have a code 08 drivers licence
• Must have a minimum of one year’s driving experience
• Must have a Forklift licence with a minimum 3 years forklift handling experience
• Advantageous: a certificate in Inventory management / stock control
• Advantageous: Experience in Syspro
Experience Required:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a store / warehouse within a manufacturing/engineering or possibly foundry environment
• Must be computer literate (MS Excel, Word and Outlook)
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
• Adherence to all departmental / company policies, procedures, operational controls and works instructions
• Receiving of deliveries / goods from suppliers & issuing of stocks internally to respective departments as requested
• Control and storage of all materials, consumables and machine spares
• FIFO control and housekeeping (goods & documents)
• Daily critical stock counts, cycle counts as required, stock takes as required
• Data capturing of stores requisitions and delivery notes / invoices

• Experience with Safety awareness
