The main purpose of the Dealer Principal is to formulate tactical strategies and delivery plans for the dealership, ensuring operational integration and the achievement of maximum efficiency and profitability in line with set objectives. The ideal candidate will focus on building, growing and leading a strong dealership team, achieving results through extensive marketing, networking and customer care to gain market share and grow sales, workshop production and the overall profitability and efficiency of the dealership.

Duties include - Develop strategies to enhance dealership revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Implement people capacity plans aligned with performance objectives and budgets.
- Achieve and exceed financial targets as agreed.
- Manage cross-functional areas effectively to optimize operations.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and OEM guidelines.
- Oversee the dealership's financial assets, including cash flow, stock, and debtors.
- Lead and manage staff to attract and retain high-quality employees.
- Focus on customer acquisition and retention through customer-centric initiatives.
- Analyse market trends and competitor intelligence to inform strategies.
- Foster a positive work environment that maximizes employee productivity.

Requirements: - Matric (Grade 12) required
- B Com / other relevant tertiary business/commercial qualifications (preferable)
- ± 7+ years in the motor industry with exposure to various business disciplines
- ± 5 + years in vehicle retail – new and pre-owned sales
- ± 3 + years - Dealer Operations Management
- Experience in retail, sales and service
- Marketing experience
- Reside within the Gauteng Northern Suburbs or nearby
