*We have an exciting opportunity for a consultant to work with us at* *West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital NHS Trust in Endocrinology and Diabetes.*
We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing within the West Hertfordshire community.
*Your key responsibilities will be to:*
* Diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, osteoporosis, metabolic bone diseases, lipid disorders, and other hormonal imbalances.
* Candidate to have MRCP and on the Specialist Register
* Providing specialized care for patients with chronic conditions like Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including the management of complications and associated conditions.
* Interpreting results from a variety of tests such as blood glucose monitoring, hormone level testing, thyroid function tests, DEXA scans, and others relevant to endocrinology.
* Developing and implementing treatment plans which may include medication management, lifestyle advice, insulin therapy, and other interventions.
* Providing consultative services to other physicians or healthcare professionals and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.

* *Shift patterns*: 08:00-20:00 Mon-Fri on-going, part-time hours also available.
* *Hours per week*: 20-50 hours available
* *Start date*: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts
* *Rate of pay: *£111per hour
* *Payment method: PAYE *we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies
