*Doctors Direct* have an exciting opportunity for a *Consultant *to work with us at *West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital* *NHS Trust* in *Respiratory.*
We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing within the West Hertfordshire community.
*Your key responsibilities will be to:*
* Seeing, diagnosing, and treating inpatients, referring to other clinicians or general practitioners where appropriate and providing junior doctor support to their consultant
* Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in your charge, including all administrative duties associated with patient care (with secretarial support)
* Responsibilities for carrying out teaching, examination and accreditation duties are required, and for contributing to undergraduate and post-graduate and continuing medical education activity.
* Provision of cover for consultant colleagues' periods of leave in accordance with arrangements agreed within Trust policy.
* Participation in clinical audit and in continuing medical education.
* Conducting suitable duties in cases of emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
* Undertaking ward rounds as appropriate
* Providing evidence-based care for patients in a multidisciplinary setting.

* *Days per week:* 08:00-20:00 Mon-Fri on-going, part-time hours also available.
* *Start date*: ASAP - no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts
* *Rate of pay: £111 *per hour
* *Payment method: PAYE *we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies
* We request that the candidate have *MRCP* and on the *Specialist Register.*
