Requirements Advanced Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent qualification Formal Project Management qualification or certification Agile certification (Scrum Master or SAFe preferred) 5-10 years of project management experience Demonstrated experience in the Financial Services sector Proven expertise in managing large-scale, strategically aligned projects within the financial services industry In-depth knowledge of project cost management, as well as contract and service management Experience in managing Agile projects (as this initiative is Agile-focused) Previous experience with Information Technology, Integration Service, and Infrastructure projects Experience in overseeing and coordinating inter-departmental projects ITIL 3 or 4 Foundation Certificate (preferred) Experience with DevSecOps practices (preferred) Responsibilities Develop Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and statements of work for professional services Define project scope and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure clarity on deliverables and approach Manage external service provider contracts and track project expenditures Build and manage an Agile development team, clearly defining roles and responsibilities to deliver project outputs Establish and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and commitment to project goals Ensure timely production, approval, and maintenance of all project documentation, deliverables, and reports, in line with methodology requirements Facilitate Agile project events and maintain relevant tools (e.g., storyboards, backlogs, user stories) Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and constraints Oversee project changes to ensure alignment with the project management plan or product backlog Direct and coordinate activities of the development team, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and specifications Lead, motivate, and guide development teams throughout the project lifecycle Manage project budget effectively, reconciling expenditures against the approved budget Produce and present regular project progress reports to the product owner and Steering Committee (SteerCo) members
