A well-established Restaurant & Lounge based in Umhlanga (Durban) is now hiring a qualified and experienced Front of House Supervisor . The incumbent will be joining a diverse team of experienced and skilled personnel in the restaurant environment. Summary of Role: The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house team, including scheduling shifts, training new employees, and conducting performance evaluations. Addressing any operational issues that arise during service such as customer inquiries, complaints, staffing shortages or equipment malfunctions. Overseeing cash registers, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial transactions. Monitoring stock levels of supplies (like menus, utensils, and cleaning products) and placing orders when necessary. Maintaining safety and food quality standards Desired Experience and Qualification Post Matric Qualification in hospitality, Business Management or Related Field. Min. 5 years work experience (3 years must be in a supervisor role). Food and beverage (F&B) knowledge. Planning and Organisational Skills. Leadership and Management Skills.
