Responsible for the management and effective operation of the Maintenance Department Coordinate maintenance required for all internal and external areas Implementation of preventative maintenance programmes Conducting of maintenance audits and inspections on complex Coordinate staffing functions Monitor operation of complex equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime Provide proper record keeping of all services Perform basic accounting of the department, including procurement of materials and budgeting Ensure that all fire detection areas are operational Must be able to perform Head Office requests, e.g. Business plans, Health and Safety requirements, etc. Matric /Grade 12 N6 (Electrical) with trade test at a reputable institution Wiremans license is essential 5 Years of skilled maintenance experience which must have included 2 years of managerial experience Proficient in Word and Excel Ability to manage a Health and Safety programme Ability to work under pressure as well as a team player Must be able to communicate at all levels Good interpersonal and organisational skills required Knowledge of maintenance planning and administration Shift work is an operational requirement
