POSITION AVAILABLE: HEAD OF SCHOOL
Roseway Waldorf School is recruiting for a new position of Head of School.
The Head of School will provide strategic, pedagogical and fiduciary leadership in line with Waldorf ideals. The Head of School must embrace values of integrity, honesty, responsibility and child-centred learning. The Head of School will work closely with the College of Teachers and the Administrator and will report to the Board of Directors.
Job Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A qualified teacher with SACE registration
- A minimum of ten years of teaching experience
- A minimum of five years leadership experience
- Proven experience in strategic leadership and development
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic, operational, and financial responsibility for the school
- Strategic direction and leadership of the school
- Provide inspiring and purposeful leadership for the staff, students, and the wider community
- Deliver strategic, timely and effective decisions to ensure students receive the highest quality education
- Facilitate positive relationships between parents, teachers and other stakeholders of the community
Successful candidates must:
- Be forward-thinking educational leaders with an understanding of Waldorf Pedagogy
- Have a thorough knowledge of the Waldorf curriculum and teaching methodology
- Be committed to developing collaborative relationships, inspiring creativity, and empowering others to reach their goals
- Have a commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be competent in developing and implementing policies, procedures and systems
